About Us
St. John Roman Catholic Church has chartered Cub Pack 420 since 1958. With this year's recharter, the Cub Pack will be celebrating it's 49th year with the church. We are a Quality Unit and 100% Boys Life subscription.
Meetings
The Pack's den meetings are held weekly on the St. John Church's campus on Monday evenings. Pack meetings are held the fourth Monday of the month, while school is in session, in the St. John School Cafeteria. During Pack meetings, Cub Scouts are recognized for their rank achievements and awards. These meetings are usually themed based and incorporate an activity. During the summer months the Pack encourages the Cubs to attend Carroll District's day camp in July or camp overnight at Camp Oest. The Pack will plan summertime family activities. This will give Cubs a chance to earn their Summertime pin award.
Leadership Meetings
The Pack leadership and parent committee meets in the Parish Center on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Cub Scouts is a parent and child activity. Without parent participation we could not provide an excellent program for their son. We encourage parents to volunteer either on a den or pack level.
